Over the two weeks since the last roundup, applicants reported 14 outcomes from their own EB-2 NIW and EB-1A petitions in public forums: seven approvals, three denials and four requests for evidence. Thirteen of the 14 were EB-2 NIW; the single EB-1A report was an RFE received on Nov. 1, not a decision. These are self-reported, unverified posts, not official statistics, and one case says nothing about another.

Three of the seven approvals came after an RFE. Two of those described an RFE on all three prongs of the national-interest test that ended in an approval; the third said only that the approval followed an RFE. One approval was reported as granted without an RFE, and one approval noted an approved I-140 with the I-485 still pending. The remaining approvals did not say whether an RFE had come first. One caveat on the count: two of the approval posts are worded almost identically, so the approval total may be six rather than seven. On the denial side, three were reported: one I-140 denial with no detail, one denial the poster described with the abbreviation “EP,” which we are not treating as confirmed premium processing, and one denial after an RFE on all three prongs. The four RFEs were reported on Oct. 22, Oct. 25, Oct. 27 and Nov. 1.

What the reports did not include matters as much as what they did. No post in the window stated a service center, and almost none gave both a receipt and a decision date, so no useful spread of receipt-to-decision times can be drawn from this fortnight’s posts. Only one mentioned premium processing, and only as a two-letter abbreviation. That is thinner detail than usual: most of these arrived as post titles and flair with no timeline in the card.

Reports posted on Oct. 18 and Oct. 19 were left out of the counts because they fall in the previous roundup’s window, and one approval from Oct. 30 carried a title only, with no detail of any kind, so it was held back rather than counted. Two reports that read alike were counted once.

For official processing times, USCIS publishes them by form and office at egov.uscis.gov/processing-times ; that page, not a forum, is where to check how long a category is currently taking.
